Using AI in the process of tackling societal challenges

Hands-on work on current societal challenges 

Based on current challenges in Skellefteå Kommun, participants will work in smaller groups on a shared case. With methodological support, you will explore what it means to work with structured innovation where AI is used as a practical tool rather than a sidetrack. 

Who the session is for

The workshop is aimed at those working with development or innovation activities, whether you lead processes, run projects, or want to increase the impact of your engagement, we seek attendance from a broad spectrum from society’s all corners: 

• Strategists and developers from the Public sector,  
• Advisors and similar at Support organizations for startups and scaleups 
• Business leaders at Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME), and  
• Managers at Non-profit sector are warmly welcome.  

Experience in development and innovation work is a plus, as is familiarity with AI, but it is not a requirement. You do not need to be an “innovation ninja” or an “AI geek”, quite the opposite. 

Expected value for participants  

• Increased practical understanding of AI’s strategic and operational value in development and innovation work 
• Concrete working methods that can be applied directly within your own organization
