The transition to fossil-free aviation means development and competence in electric flights and charging infrastructure at airports. The TAKEOFF project aims at knowledge-building, innovation and development of sustainable battery-electric flights, charging infrastructure and resilient electrification at airports, as well as meeting the need for competence supply in the electrification of aviation.<\/p>\n

The benefit of the project is to contribute to an increase in skills and knowledge to enable fossil-free flights through the electrification of parts of the aviation industry, and to strengthen the benefit of interdisciplinary research and development that is ongoing at companies, society and academia.<\/p>\n

The project focuses on developing efficient charging strategies, analyzing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and compatibility (EMC), and addressing safety and risk management through interdisciplinary collaboration between Skellefte\u00e5 Airport, Uppsala University (UU), Lule\u00e5 University of Technology (LTU), Skellefte\u00e5 Science City, AirForestry and Transportf\u00f6retagen Flyg, with support from the Resilient Competence Center.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
