Background
Northern Sweden has the right conditions to create the sustainable and electrified society of the future and has taken the lead in this transition.
There is an enormous social development underway in Skellefteå right now and strengthening Campus Skellefteå with a center for education and research with a focus on the new emerging industry is central to Skellefteå’s continued growth.
The initiators are Luleå University of Technology, Skellefteå Kraft, and Skellefteå Municipality.
Objectives
The Arctic Center of Energy offers a unique meeting place, test beds and lab environments for the world’s leading players in electrification.
